The Miami Open WC500 is one of the new additions to the UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour in 2026, following two years of exhibition wheelchair draws at one of the most high profile tennis tournaments outside of the four Grand Slam events.
A field of eight men's players and eight women's players contested the Premier Tier singles and doubles draws at the Miami Open Hard Rock Stadium this year, with world No.2 Alfie Hewett beating world No.1 Tokito Oda for the first time since the 2025 Australian Open final to lift the inaugural men's singles title.
