We have established player panels on the World Tennis Tour to provide a forum for players to have their say on how the Tour is run
There are two World Tennis Tour player panels – a women’s tennis panel chaired by Mary Pierce and a men’s tennis panel chaired by Mark Woodforde. There are up to seven playing members and a coach on each panel. Members of the panels are elected by their fellow players.
To ensure broad geographical representation, there is a limit of two players per region on both the women's tennis panel and the men’s tennis panel. There is also a limit on the number of players in the highest-ranking band on each tour’s panel (a maximum of three players with WTA rankings No. 151-300 in either singles or doubles for the women’s tennis panel; a maximum of two players with ATP rankings of No. 351-500 in either singles or doubles for the men’s tennis panel).
Player members vote, where voting is required, but ultimately advise and make recommendations to the World Tennis Tour Committee, which in turn reports to the Board of Directors.
CURRENT ELECTED PLAYER MEMBERS (2026-2027)
The current elected player members will serve a term until the end of the 2027 season, when the next elections will take place. The panel will meet at least two times per year, but it is normally more frequent.

There have been so many positive changes that have come out of [the Player Panels]. Some things that maybe could have been done before, but weren't brought to light because there wasn't a Panel. I think it's serving the tennis community really well
