The search for the best tennis imagery of 2026 is underway, with the launch of the World Tennis Photograph of the Year competition.
The game’s global governing body is welcoming entries from both professional and amateur photographers across the world, with a top prize of $3,000 USD on offer for the winner.
World Tennis is responsible for supporting tennis from global development through each stage of the player pathway to the very top of the game, and the competition is designed to celebrate the breadth of that work.
The Winner, Runner-up and Top 10 shortlist will be selected by a judging panel consisting of World Tennis President David Haggerty, Tennis Photographer Paul Zimmer and Two-time Grand Slam Champion Garbine Muguruza.

Ray Giubilo of Australia was the winner of the 2025 World Tennis Photograph of the Year competition.
Giubilo’s image of Jasmine Paolini, with her face perfectly framed by the oval of her racket and her eyes and mouth aligned within the circles and triangle of the logo on the strings, as she played a forehand at the 2025 US Open, came out on top.
Each entrant can submit up to three images, all of which must have been taken in 2026 and depict tennis activity.
Closing date is Monday 7 December 2026 1200 GMT.
Second and third prize winners will receive $1,000 and $500 USD respectively.
