The remaining players will contest placement matches to see who finishes third, fourth fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth.

Boys’ placement matches:

Keaton Hance (USA) v Vincent Reisach (GER)

Dimitar Kisimov (BUL) v Thilo Behrmann (AUT)

Yannik Alvarez (PUR) v Jamie Mackenzie (GER)

Girls’ placement matches:

Jana Kovackova (CZE) v Mariia Makarova

Anastasija Cvetkovic (SRB) v Janae Preston (USA)

Polina Skliar (UKR) v Ksenia Efremova (FRA)

The winner of each event will earn up to 1000 ranking points – equivalent to what is on offer at a Junior Grand Slam – which will be a significant boost to a player’s quest to finish 2026 as the year-end No. 1 boy or girl.

It is also worth noting that a higher year-end ranking will enable players to access higher-level professional tournament opportunities through the Junior Accelerator Programme in 2027.

Players competing in Chengdu will also benefit from travel grants to support their future progression to professional tennis. This year the travel grants once again exceed $220,000 USD.

The 2026 winner of the boys’ and girls’ event will receive up to $23,000 USD, with travel grants staggered at every level through to those in eighth position.
