Jubb claims Tour-leading fifth ITF title of 2021 season
Paul Jubb’s strong year on the ITF World Tennis Tour continued as the 22-year-old Brit won a Tour-leading fifth title of the season on Sunday.
Jubb, who won back-to-back M25 titles in Portugal in September to add to his victories at M15 Sharm El Sheikh in February and April, defeated Romanian Gabi Adrian Boitan 6-2 1-6 7-5 for his first pro title on American soil at M25 Harlingen.
The world No. 345, who also finished runner-up on Portuguese soil at M25 Portimao in late October, has moved level with Italian Franco Agamenone and Austrian Filip Misolic for most ITF men’s singles titles in 2021.
