France has announced eight players set to feature in its first home Games in 100 years at the Paralympic Wheelchair Tennis Event on 30 August - 7 September.

Stephane Houdet, Frederic Cattaneo, Guilhem Laget and Gaetan Menguy will represent the hosts in the men's division, while world No. 19 Pauline Deroulede, rising star Ksenia Chasteau, Emmanuelle Morch and Charlotte Fairbank will compete in the women's event.

World No. 8 Houdet is a veteran of the Paralympic Games, having competed at Beijing 2008, London 2012, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020.

He has three gold medals, one silver and a bronze to his name, having won doubles gold at Beijing 2008, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020, and singles silver and doubles bronze at London 2012.

Each member of the French team will have high hopes of rising to the occasion in front of home fans at Roland Garros at the event - which comes three weeks after the conclusion of the Olympic Tennis Event at the same venue.
