The International Tennis Federation has announced the allocated qualification slots for the wheelchair tennis event at 2023 Parapan American Games in Santiago, Chile on 19-25 November.

The competition will feature men’s, women’s and quad singles and doubles events and is sanctioned by the ITF as an ITF 2 Series tournament on the 2023 UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour. UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Ranking points will be awarded.

The Games will feature a 12 draw for quad division players, a 16 draw for women and a 24 draw for men with players representing 13 countries among the full list of entries.

The Parapan American Games will be the fourth of four regional multisport events held during 2023 - along with the African Para Games, the Asian Para Games and the European Para Championships - that will include wheelchair tennis tournaments sanctioned with ITF 2 Series status on the UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour.

The men’s and women’s singles champions will earn a direct qualification slot for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games subject to also meeting additional ITF requirements.

All players must be in good standing with their national association and the ITF, have been appropriately classified and have played the required number of World Team Cup events.
