The International Tennis Federation has announced the allocated qualification slots for the wheelchair tennis event at the inaugural European Para Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands on 8-13 August.

The competition will feature men’s, women’s and quad singles and doubles events and is sanctioned by the ITF as an ITF 2 Series tournament on the 2023 UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour. UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Ranking points will be awarded.

The Games will feature a 12 draw for quad division players, a 16 draw for women and a 24 draw for men with players representing 18 countries among the full list of entries.

The European Para Championships is one of four regional multisport events in 2023 - along with the African Para Games, the Asian Para Games and the Parapan American Games - that will include wheelchair tennis tournaments sanctioned on the UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour.

The men’s and women’s singles champions will earn a direct qualification spot for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
