Leo Borg, Kalin Ivanovski and Nicolas Kobelt made it a triple triumph for teenagers on the ITF World Tennis Tour after securing titles this weekend.

Borg, 19, and Ivanovski, 18, who are both taking early strides in their professional careers having both ranked inside the world’s Top 20 as juniors, won at M15 Sharm El Sheikh and M15 Heraklion, respectively.

It was a particularly significant moment for Borg, son of legendary tennis player and 11-time Grand Slam champion Bjorn, whose 3-6 7-5 6-4 win over Bor Artnak marked his first singles title as a professional.

Borg had lost his first eight men’s matches in 2020 and early 2021, but has quietly picked up wins this year as he looks to shrug off the weight of the family name  – going on to reach his first ITF men’s final at M25 Cairo in early September ahead of his breakthrough win this weekend.

Ivanovski, meanwhile, collected his second men’s crown with an emphatic 6-1 6-1 win over Romanian Sebastian Gima, adding to his maiden victory at M15 Monastir in August.

Eighteen-year-old Swiss Kobelt, meanwhile, won seven matches on the bounce to clinch his first men’s title on Estonian soil at M15 Parnau.

The former junior world No. 106 came through qualifying to reach the title match, where he saw off German Niklas Schell 6-3 7-6(3).
