The Tram Barcelona Open is the fourth WC1000 event on the 2026 UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour, and is a new addition this season to the highest tier of standalone wheelchair tournaments outside of the Grand Slams.
It is also the only WC1000 ITF Premier tournament this season to be held on clay and, therefore, the most prominent clay-court wheelchair tournament of the year after the French Open.
