28 teams representing 17 countries are set to contest the 2026 BNP Paribas World Team Cup European Qualification, which incorporates a combined quad qualification event featuring a team from South Africa.
A total of 14 teams will contest the men’s draw in Alghero, Sardinia, with six teams contesting the women’s draw and South Africa lining up alongside seven European teams for the quad draw.

With the provisional seeding based on the UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour Rankings of 27 September 2026 and calculated according to the combined ranking of the top two players in each team, world No. 13 Sergei Lysov of Israel is the highest ranked player nominated for the men’s event.
Israel also have the highest ranked individual player – world No. 22 Maayan Zikri - nominated for the women’s event.
Meanwhile, current world No. 3 and two-time Roland Garros champion Guy Sasson is the highest ranked individual player nominated for the quad event and is nominated for Israel’s quad team alongside London 2012 quad singles gold medallist Noam Gershony.
World No. 5 Ahmet Kaplan is the second of two top 10 players nominated for the quad event and is set to lead the challenge of top seeds Turkiye.
