We are World Tennis: in words and animation

In what has been a transformational year, World Tennis's mission is to grow the sport, create future champions, open the game to all and invest in tennis for future generations.

World Tennis provides a world of opportunity – for all. But how exactly do we do this? The answers lie within We Are World Tennis 2026, our new-look annual review.

The report showcases the work and achievements of tennis’s global governing body over the last year, and our ambitions in this new era for the sport.

We Are World Tennis 2026 has been published at the same time as an animated video, which explains the interchanging roles and responsibilities of World Tennis through the evolving stages of an individual's lifetime tennis journey. 

Supplementing the video, World Tennis 2026 provides a deeper dive into our unique role and how we fulfil it. Much of the work is achieved through, and in partnership with, our network of 214 member National Associations.

This is a powerful alliance that ensures the sport exists in all corners of the world. Together, we work to bring more people into the sport and keep them involved, either as players or fans or both, and we create opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to play.

Everything we do is about ensuring tennis thrives for today and tomorrow and this is reflected in We Are World Tennis 2026 and the animated video. The report also sets out our priorities that will help ensure the sport enjoys long-term, sustainable growth.
