Three year-extension and enhanced rights package for Dwight Global
World Tennis and Dwight Global have renewed and elevated the partnership that will see the online school continue as the official education partner of the World Tennis Tour Juniors for a further three years.
The partnership, first established in 2023, gives the world’s best young players the opportunity to benefit from Dwight Global’s range of online education programme, and its extension comes as World Tennis continues to build commercial momentum throughout 2026.
Ranked the #1 private online high school in the United States by niche.com, Dwight Global Online School sets the platinum standard in online private school education and is the ideal choice for aspiring young tournament players aged 12 to 18 who want to balance their pursuit of excellence on the court and in the classroom.
Ross Hutchins, World Tennis CEO, said: “We are pleased to extend and enhance our partnership with Dwight Global to provide opportunities for those on the World Tennis player pathway to continue their progress both on and off the court. Personal development is key for young players, and this partnership gives them the chance to pursue a high-level education while following their dreams as tennis players."
Dr Blake Spahn, Vice Chancellor of the Dwight Schools and captain of the 1994 Columbia University Ivy League Championship Tennis Team, added: “The demands placed on junior players are enormous, and having time to dedicate to training, practice, and travel on the World Tennis tour makes all the difference in maintaining a competitive edge. We’re pleased to provide players with a world-class private school education combined with the flexibility they need to perform and compete at the highest levels.”
What is included in the partnership?
The renewed partnership encompasses Franklin Global Online School, the newest school from the Dwight-Franklin School Group. Franklin Global Online has captured the history of academic excellence from across the school group and combined it with the future-thinking curriculum of the 2025-26 Most Innovative School in the World-Winner (Franklin Jersey City) to bring students a world-class education in an flexible format.
The renewal will also provide greater visibility for Dwight Global across the World Tennis Coaches Conference and World Tennis Academy, alongside a dedicated "A Day in the Life" social content series featuring Dwight Global students competing on the World Tennis Tour Juniors, offering an authentic insight into the balance between elite sport and academic excellence.
Dwight Global also continues as the official education partner of the Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Junior Finals and Davis Cup Junior Finals. The 2026 Finals will take place in Cairo, Egypt on 2-8 November - the first time in the competitions’ history that the Finals have been contested in Africa.
Dwight Global will continue to provide all junior tour players with a 50% tuition discount, webinars about college planning, mental health and leadership, and dedicated college counsellors skilled in athletic recruitment, who will work with each player to gain acceptance into their top choice universities. Students can join Dwight Global traveling teams where they train, compete, and study together.
More information about the benefits of the partnership will be shared at webinars throughout the year, the next of which will take place on Wednesday 30 September and will offer students the chance to ask questions of both Dr Blake Spahn, Vice Chancellor of the Dwight Schools and former Columbia University tennis captain, and Ross Hutchins, World Tennis CEO and former British Davis Cup player.
Additionally, as Dwight Global students, players on the World Tennis Tour Juniors will have unique opportunities to study on-site at any school in Dwight’s global network, which has campuses in New York, Cairo, London, Seoul, Shanghai, Dubai, and Hanoi. Students can also enjoy Dwight residential experiences, participate in performing arts collaborations, and go on trips and exchanges with Dwight and Franklin students worldwide.
