Tennis in Jordan on the agenda with ITF President visit
David Haggerty continued the ITF mission to develop tennis across the world with a visit to Jordan earlier this month.
The ITF President met with the President Khalid Naffa and the Board of the Jordan Tennis Federation and was hosted by the President of the Jordan Olympic Committee and IOC Executive Board member, HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein.
He also met with the Minister of Youth, Culture and Sport.
He attended the West Asia 12 & Under Championships where 8 nations participated – an important developmental competition for the West Asia region – which was hosted in capital city Amman between 22nd and 27th April.
David Haggerty said: “It was a great pleasure to visit Jordan and see a little of the excellent work of the Jordan Tennis Federation (JTF) in action. I would like to thank the JTF Board and HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein for hosting my visit. I enjoyed our conversations around support for tennis in Jordan and I look forward to a continued positive relationship in years to come.”
