Register now for the 2023 ITF World Coaches Conference
The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has announced that registration for the 2023 ITF World Coaches Conference is now open. The conference will take place in Bogota, Colombia on Tuesday 31 October-Thursday 2 November 2023.
Held biennially, the ITF World Coaches Conference regularly attracts more than 650 coaches and experts from over 100 different countries. The conference delivers content related to tennis coaching, applied sport science for coaching, player development, participation and coach education.
With the 2021 conference held virtually due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2023 edition will be the first time that the world’s leading tennis coaches will gather in-person for the conference since 2019. It is also the first time that the conference will be held in South America for 16 years, since Paraguay hosted the event in 2007.
The theme of the 2023 conference is ‘player-centred coaching’. Leading experts in all areas of player development will share their knowledge and experience to help coaches meet the challenges of working at different stages of a player's career.
Speakers for the conference will be announced over the coming months. The ITF is also calling for the submission of presentations for the conference. Further information can be found here.
The conference will feature on-court sessions at the America Club each morning and lecture room session at the Casa Dann Hotel in the afternoons. View the agenda for the conference here.
Luca Santilli, ITF Executive Director, Development, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming participants to our 2023 World Coaches Conference. Having held the 2021 edition virtually, this year’s conference will allow tennis coaches to catch up with friends and colleagues whom they may not have seen in-person for four years. The conference is a chance to share knowledge and expertise, enabling coaches across the world to continue to deliver tennis for future generations.”
Early-bird registration is available until 18 June 2023. Click below to register.
