The ITF can confirm a host of keynote speakers for the 2023 ITF World Coaches Conference, which will take place in Bogota, Colombia from Tuesday 31 October – Thursday 2 November 2023.

The theme of the 2023 conference is ‘player-centred coaching’, and leading experts in all areas of player development will share their knowledge and experience to help coaches meet the challenges of working at different stages of a player's career.

The conference will feature on-court sessions at the America Club each morning and lecture room sessions at the Casa Dann Hotel in the afternoons. The agenda for the conference can be viewed here.

Craig O’Shannessy (AUS), Brian Hainline (USA), David Roditi (MEX), Esteban Carril (ESP) and Michelangelo Dell'Edera (ITA) are the latest speakers to be confirmed for the conference, which regularly attracts more than 500 coaches and experts from over 100 nations.

The likes of Paul Roetert (USA), Mark Kovacs (USA), Roberta Burzagli (BRA), Marcos Daniel (BRA), Valeria MacLoughlin (ARG), Luciana Sarmenti (ARG), Fabiola Zuluaga (COL), Isla Smith (GBR), Stuart Twigg (GBR), Jürg Buehler (SUI) and Ghizela Enslin (RSA) will also speak.

Held biennially, the ITF World Coaches Conference delivers a range of in-depth content related to tennis coaching, applied sport science for coaching, player development, participation and coach education.

With the 2021 conference held virtually due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2023 edition will be the first time that the world’s leading tennis coaches will gather in-person for the conference since 2019. It is also the first time that the conference will be held in South America for 16 years – since Paraguay hosted the event in 2007.
