ITF and IOC Presidents meet ahead of ASOIF AGM

ITF President David Haggerty was in Lausanne on Tuesday 7 June to meet with IOC President Thomas Bach ahead of the ASOIF (The Association of Summer Olympic International Federations) AGM. 

The Presidents discussed many business matters around tennis including preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympic Tennis Event, which is due to take place on 27 July – 4 August 2024, and the sport’s contribution to building bridges for peace.

Haggerty also provided updates to the IOC President on the 2022 Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup Finals in November, the pinnacle events of the men’s and women’s World Cups of Tennis, and part of the Olympic Qualification pathway.
