International broadcast expands Beach Tennis reach to new audience
The ITF Beach Tennis World Cup will have an English international broadcast for the first time as the popularity of the sport continues to soar. The competition has returned to the iconic Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro and runs from 8-13 November 2022.
In addition to Brazilian streaming coverage from N Sports, the World Cup will be distributed internationally for the first time. beIN Sports (USA & Canada) & W-Sports (Benelux, South East Asia & Sub-Saharan Africa) will be broadcasting the quarter-finals onwards with English commentary headlined by Beach Tennis influencer Júlia Font.
The ITF Beach Tennis World Cup is the premier national team competition bringing all the top players in the world together to represent their country.
Sixteen national teams will compete in four groups to determine the quarter-finalists. Each tie consists of three matches – a women’s doubles, a men’s doubles and a decisive mixed doubles.
The final will be played on Sunday evening with the women’s doubles starting at 19:00 local time (GMT-3).
