Entries announced for Wheelchair Tennis Masters events
The International Tennis Federation has announced the entries for the 2019 NEC Wheelchair Singles Masters and UNIQLO Wheelchair Doubles Masters.
The ITF's year-end wheelchair tennis championships on the UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour take place simultaneously on 19-26 November at the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona, Orlando, Florida.
The top eight men's and women's singles players and the top six quad singles players on the UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Rankings to have entered at the entry cut-off date of 7 October qualify for the 2019 NEC Wheelchair Single Masters.
The top eight men's doubles pairings, the top six women's doubles pairings and the top four quad doubles pairings to enter based on combined doubles rankings and the UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Rankings of 7 October qualify for the 2019 UNIQLO Wheelchair Doubles Masters.
While the NEC Masters took place at the USTA National Campus for the first time in 2018, this year will be the second time in seven years that the year-end singles and doubles championships have been held at the same venue and at the same time after Mission Viejo, California, staged both events in 2013.
It will also be only the second time since 2002 that the two championship events have been held at the same venue.
NEC has been title sponsor of the Singles Masters since its inception in 1994, with the event having celebrated it 25th edition in 2018. UNIQLO has been title sponsor of the Doubles Masters since 2014.
