Overview

The Cajun Classic - a WT1000 Premier Tier event on the UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour - took place in Baton Rouge on 17-22 March.

Kgothatso Montjane of South Africa won the first women's singles title of her career at WT!00 level (or its equivalent of Super Series level up until the renaming of tournament grades for 2026), defeating top seed Aniek van Koot of the Netherlands 5-7, 7-6(4), 6-4.

World No. 1 Tokito Oda of Japan claimed his second men's singles title in Baton Rouge since 2023 after defeating five-time former champion Alfie Hewett 1-6, 6-2, 6-4 in the men's singles final.

Meanwhile, world No. 1 Niels Vink claimed his fourth Cajun Classic quad singles title in five years after beating fellow Dutchman and world No.2 Sam Schroder 6-1, 6-2.
