The third of the WC1000 tournaments on the 2026 UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour, the Japan Open returns for its 42nd edition in 2026 and features a star-studded cast of many of the world's leading players.
As a WC1000 Premier Tier tournament, the Japan Open is among the most important of standalone wheelchair tennis tournaments outside of the Grand Slams.
