Overview

Dominic Stricker defeated fellow Swiss Leandro Riedi 6-2 6-4 to become Switzerland’s first Junior Grand Slam boys’ champion since Stan Wawrinka achieved the same feat at the Roland Garros Junior Championships in 2003. Stricker also claimed the boys' doubles title alongside Italy's Flavio Cobolli

France’s Elsa Jacquemot won the girls' singles title in Paris after staging an impressive fightback to overcome Alina Charaeva of Russia. The home favourite trailed by a set and 4-2 in the second, but the 17-year-old managed to turn the tide in her favour and ultimately triumphed 4-6 6-4 6-2.

Jacquemot became the first French girl to be crowned a Junior Grand Slam champion since Kristina Mladenovic, who triumphed on the clay at Roland Garros in 2009.

Italian duo Eleonora Alvisi and Lisa Pigato won the girls' doubles crown.
