Czechia and USA to clash in 2023 Billie Jean King Cup Juniors Final
Czechia will face USA in the 2023 Billie Jean King Cup Juniors by Gainbridge Finals on Sunday - a repeat of the 2022 final - to cap a week of pulsating action in Córdoba.
Czechia, who overcame Great Britain 2-0 in their semi-final on Saturday after wins for Laura Samsonova and Alena Kovackova, will seek to win the 16-and-under international team competition for the sixth time and re-claim the title after falling to USA in last year's title decider.
The Americans beat hosts Spain in their semi-final on Saturday courtesy of victories for Grant Tyra and Iva Jovic and will bid to defend their crown for the first time since they won three titles in a row between 2017 and 2019. They are seeking an 8th Billie Jean King Cup Junior title overall.
