Vandewinkel wins second straight title at W100 Bengaluru
Hanne Vandewinkel's start to the 2026 season keeps on getting better and better.
A week on from winning the title at W75 Pune, she reigned supreme once again in India at W100 Bengaluru on Sunday.
The Belgian 21-year-old defeated home favourite Vaishnavi Adkar 6-0 6-1 in the final and only dropped one set all week for the second tournament in a row.
Vandewinkel, who won her first WTA 125 title last season, has now picked up her first W75 and W100 titles in consecutive weeks.
As a result of this, she has now won at least one title at every tournament level below WTA 250 - and there is no reason as to why she cannot be challenging at that level soon.
Vandwinkel is up to a career-high ranking of world No. 113 after her latest triumph.

Vandewinkel's final opponent, Adkar, made history with her run to the final in Bengaluru.
It was the 21-year-old's first appearance at a W100 event and she became the first Indian player to reach a final at that level, as well as the first Indian player to reach a women’s singles final at W100-level or above since February 2009.
Despite the brutal scoreline, Adkar made a strong account of herself against an in-form opponent.
