Update - ITF tournaments in Israel

The thoughts of the ITF are with the victims and all those innocent people affected by this violence. We hope it is brought to an end and that peace is restored as quickly as possible.

All ITF World Tennis Tour tournaments scheduled to take place in Israel during the weeks of 16 and 23 October have been cancelled to ensure the safety of the players and all those involved with the events.

This has been communicated to players and we are supporting those affected to try and minimise the impact of these cancellations on their schedule.

This follows the announcement on Saturday 7 October that all ITF tournaments in Israel either already underway or due to take place this week, beginning 9 October, had been cancelled. All such decisions are made in consultation with security experts, the tournament organisers, and the Israel Tennis Federation (ITA).

We continue to monitor the situation closely and, together with our security advisors, will provide updates as soon as we can regarding the ITF tournaments due to take place in Israel for the rest of the year.
