Update: 2026 World Tennis Beach Tour Finals

24 Jul 2026

The 2026 World Tennis Beach Tour Finals and New Wave event will now take place in São Paulo, Brazil, from 28 November to 5 December 2026. São Paulo will host both events in 2026 and 2027, with the specific venue to be confirmed in due course.

The season ending event will bring together the world's top eight men's and women's doubles teams, with qualification determined by the Tour Finals Race Rankings. Teams earn points throughout the season across BT400 tournaments, Sand Series events and the World Championships, with each team's best 10 results counting towards qualification.

The race is already underway following the opening 12 qualifying events, with Nicolas Gianotti and Mattia Spoto leading the men's standings, while Giulia Gasparri and Ninny Valentini top the women's.

São Paulo will also host the inaugural Continental Cup from 1-3 October 2026 at MAVSA Resort. Delivered in conjunction with the São Paulo Tennis Federation and endorsed by the Brazilian Tennis Confederation (CBT), the new international team competition will take place as a trial event, bringing together Team Rest of the World and Team South America in a Ryder Cup-inspired format featuring professional players, rising stars and legends. Alongside the event, junior activations and coach education will support the continued growth of the beach tennis ecosystem.

Alexandre Farias, CBT President said: “It is a great source of pride for Brazil to host, in succession, two of the most important events on the World Tennis Beach calendar. The World Tennis Beach Tour Finals will be held in São Paulo, while the Continental Cup will take place in Cesário Lange, further establishing the State of São Paulo as the true world capital of Beach Tennis.”

Matt Byford, Executive Director, World Tennis Beach, said: “São Paulo has established itself as one of the world's leading destinations for beach tennis, and we are delighted to work with our fantastic partners to bring the 2026 and 2027 editions of the World Tennis Beach Tour Finals and New Wave event to Brazil, as well as the new Continental Cup. With the Tour Finals Race already underway, we look forward to an exciting finish to the season and crowning our champions."
