Spain crowned Beach Tennis World Cup Champions
The ITF Beach Tennis World Cup Finals were held from 9 - 14 December, with 16 nations competing in the mixed team event. Each nation fielded two men and two women, with ties decided across men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles.
In the professional competition, Spain progressed to the final after eliminating the reigning champions Italy in the semi-finals, while Brazil advanced following a closely contested tie against France. The final saw Spain deliver composed performances across the decisive matches to overcome hosts Brazil and secure the ITF Beach Tennis World Cup title, marking a landmark achievement for the Spanish team. France went on to claim third place after edging Italy in the play-off.

The Junior competition saw Brazil and Italy advance to the final after progressing from the semi-finals. In a rematch of the previous year’s title match, Brazil took control early as Isabella Massioli and Beatriz Valerio claimed the girls’ doubles. Italy responded in the boys’ match through Alex Agirelli and Giacomo Pollino, before the championship was decided in the mixed doubles, where Henrique Medeiros and Valerio secured a straight-sets victory to seal Brazil’s Junior Beach Tennis World Cup title. Spain finished third after defeating France in the play-off.
The 2025 Beach Tennis World Cup once again highlighted the growing depth and global reach of the sport, with thrilling competition at both professional and junior levels.
