Sherif reigns supreme at W100 Biarritz
Egypt's Mayar Sherif picked up her third title of the season and second at W100 level in Biarritz on Sunday, marking her return to the top 100 in style.
Sherif, who won titles at W100 Madrid and WTA Parma 125 earlier this year, was in dominant form all week - storming to the title without dropping a set. In fact, she's not lost a single set during all three of her title runs in 2025.
The 29 year-old Egyptian battled past the home favourite Tiantsoa Sarah Rakotomanga Rajaonah 7-5 6-4 in the final to cap off another excellent week.
After briefly dropping out of the top 100 at the start of June, it took Sherif no time at all to return to where she belongs - moving up to No.88 after her run last week.
Sherif has now tripled her title count compared to last season, and it's quickly turning into an exceptional year for her.

Elsewhere, Czech 17 year-old Laura Samson won the biggest title of her career at W75 Ceska Lipa after defeating Carolina Alves 2-6 6-2 6-3 in the final.
Samson produced a brilliant week on home soil, winning her first title of the season and fourth overall on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
As well as this, Portuguese sisters Francisca Jorge and Matilde Jorge played their second final in as many weeks against each other.
After Matilde picked up the win at W50 Montemor-o-Novo the week prior, Francisca had her revenge over the weekend at W50 Guimaraes with a 5-7 6-2 6-2 win in the final.
