Proud dad, Alcaraz, 13 grass wins: At Wimbledon with Martin Landaluce

Spain’s Martin Landaluce has been hitting the headlines in recent weeks and today he recorded his 13th consecutive match-win on grass to reach the third round at the Junior Championships, Wimbledon.

The 16-year-old dispatched Australia’s Ed Winter 6-2 7-6(8) and will now face Belgium’s Gilles Arnaud Bailly, who finished runner-up at the Roland Garros Junior Championships last month, for a place in the quarter-finals.

Landaluce has won five titles this season and has risen to No. 10 in the junior world rankings. He was joined his father Alejandro, who plays on the ITF Seniors Tour, on the media balcony at Wimbledon for chat after this latest SW19 triumph.
