Pigato claims biggest career title at W75 Nonthaburi

19 Jan 2026

It was the most triumphant weekend of Lisa Pigato's career, with the Italian claiming her biggest title yet.

The 22-year-old reigned supreme at W75 Nonthaburi on Sunday - a week after reaching the final at the same event - defeating Hirome Abe 6-4 6-7 6-2 in the final.

Pigato, who has now won seven titles on the ITF World Tennis Tour, has consistently added to her game since winning her first event in 2019.

Prior to Sunday, she had never won a title above W35 level - emphasising how big a step she has now taken in her career.

It also does not come as much surprise, given her consistent deep runs at W50 and W75 tournaments throughout 2025.
