Photo gallery: player party and pyramid visit at J500 Cairo
While J500 Cairo is one of the biggest events of the year so far on the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors, it is not all about the on-court action, with fun and culture built into proceedings.
Quite often at such events, it is time away from the court which allows players to relax, socialise and make friendships which can last a lifetime. In Cairo this week, a player party and trip to the pyramids have formed part of the programme.
Cairo has made history by becoming the first venue in North Africa to host an ITF J500 tournament, with some of the world’s best juniors converging on the Egyptian captain city. Here are some photographs showing the off-court action.
