Eva Lys, Kristina Mladenovic and Yue Yuan all took a star turn on the ITF World Tennis Tour this weekend, claiming W60 titles in Slovakia, Tunisia and USA, respectively.

Lys, a 20-year-old from Germany, defeated home favourite Anna Karolina Schmiedlova 6-2 4-6 6-2 to win the biggest title of her career – and first above W25 level – at W60 Trnava.

The youngster, who reached a high of No. 66 in the junior rankings, climbed to a career-high WTA ranking of No. 134 in the world on Monday as a result.

Yue also enjoyed a significant jump in the rankings with her weekend's work, breaking into the WTA Top 100 for the first time at No. 83 after defeating Diana Shnaider 4-6 6-3 6-1 in the final at W60 Las Vegas.

It was the 24-year-old Chinese player’s second W60 title, adding to her victory at the same level in Traralgon in January.

Mladenovic also collected her second W60 singles crown of the season courtesy of a 6-1 3-6 7-5 victory over Tamara Zidansek in Monastir. The French former world No. 10, who won the doubles title at the WTA event in Monastir with Katerina Siniakova the previous week, now has eight professional singles titles to her name, including six at ITF level.

Former world No. 59 Paula Ormaechea won a first title in over three years at W25 Tucuman; while there were also notable triumphs for Spaniard Jessica Bouzas Maneiro, American Peyton Stearns and 17-year-old Swiss Celine Naef, who all completed back-to-back tournament victories.

China’s Zhuoxuan Bai has the most impressive win streak of the bunch though, improving to 15-consecutive match-wins after adding to her M15 Monastir win in mid-September with twin triumphs at back-to-back W25 Hua Hin events.
