Line-up for 2025 ITF World Junior Tennis Finals almost complete
Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela will be represented at the 2025 ITF World Junior Tennis Finals after successfully navigating South American qualifying in Salinas, Ecuador.
Brazil and Venezuela will compete in both the boys’ and girls’ draws at the Finals following their respective showings at qualifying, while Peru’s boys and Colombia’s girls also made it through.
It is the first time for a decade – since 2015 – that a Venezuelan boys’ team has qualified for the Finals and they will head there as the 2025 South American boys’ champions. Colombia girls will compete at the Finals as South American girls’ champions.
ITF World Junior Tennis is the premier international team competition for players aged 14 and under and culminates in the Finals in Prostejov, which will this year take place from 4-9 August.
At the Finals, 16 boys’ teams and 16 girls’ teams will compete to be crowned world champions. Eleven of the 16 nations in each draw are now known with European qualifying, which will take place from 30 June – 2 July, determining the remaining five places.

Girls:
Brazil, Canada, China, P.R., Chinese Taipei, Colombia, Czechia, Japan, Korea, Rep., Tunisia, USA, Venezuela
ITF World Junior Tennis is a real festival of junior tennis and a major developmental step for players as they continue their progression along the ITF player pathway, hopefully one day to the sport’s elite level.
Indeed, many of today’s top players have honed their skills at this event, going on to represent their nations at senior level, as well as earning individual honours at the Grand Slams and at Tour level.
The likes of Carlos Alcaraz, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Bianca Andreescu, Lorenzo Musetti, Katerina Siniakova, Juan Martin del Potro, Marketa Vondrousova, Alex de Minaur, Ash Barty, Felix Auger Aliassime and Frances Tiafoe have all represented their nations in ITF World Junior Tennis.
