Kraus reigns supreme on home turf at W75 Vienna

08 Sep 2025

Sinja Kraus won her fourth title of the season on Sunday at W75 Vienna - claiming a second consecutive title on home soil.

The 23-year-old Austrian defeated Miriam Bulgaru 3-6 6-2 6-3 in the final to win her third tournament at W75 level - all of which have come in 2025.

As a result of this, Kraus has now won the joint-third most titles on the ITF World Tennis Tour this year.

Kraus lost in the first round of US Open qualifying last month, but has not lost on the World Tennis Tour since her run to the W75 Hechingen semi-finals at the start of August.

It has been a highly impressive season for Kraus, who is currently ranked at a career-high of world No. 128.

Given the form she's shown in 2025, it would not be surprising to see knocking on the door of the top 100 by the end of the season.
