Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva is the first player from Andorra to break the Top 100.

Jimenez Kasintseva shot to prominence in 2020 when she became the youngest winner of a Junior Grand Slam since Coco Gauff when she conquered all before her at the Australian Open. She was just 14 at the time.

The 20-year-old is a former junior world No. 1 and won her first pro title in 2021 on the ITF World Tennis Tour. She has won a further four since and enjoyed an impressive breakthrough at the WTA’s Merida Open earlier this month, reaching the quarter-finals.

The world No. 97 has received financial assistance through the ITF-operated Grand Slam Player Development Programme. The programme is financed by the Grand Slams, with the ITF’s modelling determining which players are selected for support.

Including 2026, Jimenez Kasintseva has received financial assistance through the programme in each of the last five years, which reflects the ITF’s commitment to supporting talented players from underrepresented nations.
