ITF World Tennis Tour Player of the Month: Amr Elsayed

07 Nov 2025

Amr Elsayed has been the named the ITF World Tennis Tour Men's Player of the Month for October after winning two titles in the best period of his career.

The Egyptian 26-year-old was nominated alongside Gianluca Cadenasso, Marc Polmans and Raphael Perot - with Elsayed winning a fan vote held across the ITF website and Instagram stories.

"I’m truly honored to be named ITF World Tennis Tour Player of the Month," said Elsayed.

"October was a special period for me — the hard work, discipline, and belief really came together. Competing in Egypt, surrounded by such great support, made it even more meaningful."

"I’d like to thank my coaching team, my family, for their constant guidance and motivation. This recognition pushes me to keep improving and reach even higher goals in the upcoming season."

Elsayed kicked off the month in emphatic fashion - winning the first title of his career at M25 Sharm El Sheikh.

The following week, he continued his strong form at M15 Sharm Sheikh where he reached the final.

Despite losing there, Elsayed was full of confidence - and he picked up the title at the same event the week after - losing just one set throughout the tournament.

He finished October with a quarter-final run again at M15 Sharm El Sheikh - registering 16 wins for just two losses.

It was undoubtedly a sensational period for Elsayed - winning his first and second professional titles in the space of three weeks after a long time of waiting.

Elsayed, who has a career-high ATP ranking of world No. 519, is now back inside the top 550 and in the form of his life.

If he continues this hot streak for the rest of the year and into the 2026 season, we could well see the Egyptian reach new heights.
