ITF Masters World Championships cancelled due to Middle East conflict

04 Mar 2026

The ITF Masters World Team and Individual Championships (60, 65, 70) in Turkiye (8-21 March) have been cancelled for safety reasons.

In collaboration with its security advisers, the ITF continues to monitor the situation in the Middle East and has taken the decision following a conflict-related development which means that it is now unsafe to host the event in Turkiye at this time.

The safety of all players and staff involved with ITF events is and must always be the primary consideration. The decision has not been taken lightly and all players and staff involved in the event have been informed.

The ITF will continue to closely monitor the situation in the Middle East. Any decisions on future events as the situation evolves will be based on the same rigorous safety and security assessments.
