ITF announces 2025 Year-End World No.1 Beach Tennis Teams
The ITF has confirmed the 2025 year-end World No.1 men’s and women’s beach tennis teams during the ITF Sand Series Tour Finals - the first season using the new Tour Final Race Rankings.
The Race tracks performances across BT400 events, Sand Series tournaments, and the ITF Beach Tennis World Championships, with each team’s best ten results shaping their final position. Those points have now decided the standout pairs of the season.
France’s Nicolas Gianotti and Italy’s Mattia Spoto finish 2025 as the men’s World No.1 team after an incredible year.

The duo collected seven titles, including BT400 Viamão, the World Beach Tennis Championships, Sand Series Matosinhos, Sand Series Brasilia, BT400 Rio de Janeiro, BT400 Balneário Camboriú, and BT400 Cuiabá, a run of consistency that kept them on top of the Race throughout the season.
Italy’s Giulia Gasparri and Ninny Valentini are crowned the women’s World No.1 team after an exceptional campaign delivering nine titles.

Their victories at BT400 Viamão, Sand Series Matosinhos, Sand Series Gran Canaria Classic, Sand Series Reunion Classic, Sand Series São Paulo, BT400 Rio de Janeiro, BT400 Balneário Camboriú, BT400 Cuiabá, and BT400 Matinhos underline their dominance across the ITF Beach Tennis Tour.
The ITF also recognises Italy’s Danny Cirella as the 2025 Year-End World No.1 Coach, guiding both top-ranked teams through another remarkable season. The trophies were presented to the players and coach earlier in the week during the Sand Series Tour Finals.
