2024 Hopman Cup postponed – returns in 2025
The 2024 Hopman Cup, which takes place in the Cote d’Azur, has been postponed due to its proximity to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and event partner Tennium have announced. The event will return in 2025.
David Haggerty, ITF President, said: “With both the Hopman Cup and Olympic Games due to take place in France this year, hitting pause on the Hopman Cup until 2025 is a sensible decision. The players who had committed to this year’s event have been informed and we look forward to seeing them in the Cote d’Azur next year.”
Kristoff Puelinckx, Tennium Founder & CEO, said: “We all agree that this is the right thing to do. We are already looking forward to the 2025 Hopman Cup, and I’m excited to see more of the same thrilling tennis and fantastic crowds we enjoyed in 2023.”
