Gibson continues great form at W75 Brisbane
Talia Gibson's form on the ITF World Tennis Tour has been exceptional of late.
She has carried her late-2025 momentum into this season - winning her first round match at the Australian Open and last week she picked up her 12th professional title and first of the year at W75 Brisbane.
The Australian 21-year-old defeated Nao Hibino 6-3 7-6 in Sunday's final and did not drop a set throughout the week for her fifth W75 title.
Towards the end of last season, Gibson was victorious at W75 Sydney and reached the semi-finals the following week at W75 Playford.
This consistent form suggests that Gibson could set for her biggest year yet.

Elsewhere, Julia Avdeeva won her first title of the season at W75 Andrézieux-Bouthéon, defeating Veronika Podrez 6-3 7-5 in the final.
The 23-year-old has now won six titles on the World Tennis Tour with three at W75 level and one at W60 level back in 2023.
