Draws announced for ITF Sand Series Tour Finals in Ribeirão Preto

28 Nov 2025

The draw for the second edition of the ITF Sand Series Tour Finals has been announced, with the world’s top men’s and women’s doubles teams set to compete at Arena Beach in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo State, Brazil, from 29 November - 6 December 2025.

The event, now extended to eight days, features a record-breaking $125,000 USD prize pool - the largest in ITF Sand Series history.

The 2025 Tour Finals will showcase the top eight men’s and women’s doubles teams, determined by the newly introduced ITF Sand Series Tour Final Race Rankings. The Race tracks team performance across BT400 events, Sand Series tournaments, and the World Championships. Teams earn points based on their results throughout the season, with the best 10 results counting toward their total on the Team Race. These aggregated points determine the highest-ranked pairs who qualify for the Finals.

The 2024 defending women’s champions Giulia Gasparri (ITA) & Ninny Valentini (ITA) and men’s champions Nicolas Gianotti (FRA) & Mattia Spoto (ITA) return as top seeds in Ribeirão Preto, leading their respective groups in this year’s draw.

The Tournament will open with round-robin group stages before moving into knockout rounds, where the Tour Finals champions will be decided.

In addition to the Tour Finals, the season will also see the crowning of the year-end World No.1 teams in both men’s and women’s doubles – an honour decided by cumulative results in the ITF Sand Series Tour Finals Race Rankings, including the Tour Finals. Their coaches will also be recognised for the vital role they’ve played throughout the season.

Running alongside the main draw is the debut of the ITF Beach Tennis New Wave invitational, an event for emerging talents which includes the 2025 18&U World Champions boys Alex Agirelli (ITA) & Giacomo Pollino (ITA) and 18&U World Champions girls Anastasia Stepanyuk & Diana Izrayleva who received automatic invitations, alongside the very best players aged 17 – 20 based on their Men’s/Women’s ranking and/or 18&U Boys/Girls ranking.

The young players will be mentored by two former World No.1 champions, Federica Bacchetta (ITA) and Vinicius Font (BRA), highlighting the ITF’s commitment to supporting and nurturing the best talent during their onward progression into professional Beach Tennis.
