Dominic Stricker wins first title since May 2023

09 Mar 2026

It was a triumphant week for Switzerland's Dominic Stricker.

The former world No. 88, whose last title came at the Prague Challenger 75 in May 2023, reigned supreme at M25 Trimbach.

Not only is this his first title in almost three years, it is also his first ever title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

It has been a tough time for the 22-year-old, who has suffered multiple injury setbacks since breaking into the top 100 in September 2023.

These setbacks have consistently disrupted Stricker - who was touted as one to watch at the ATP Next Gen Finals in 2022, before getting the biggest win of his career against Stefanos Tsitsipas at the 2023 US Open.

Stricker has been fighting his way back on the ITF World Tennis Tour and the Challenger Tour - and this hard work looks to be finally paying off.

Stricker, currently ranked at world No. 349, will undoubtedly look to use this result as a springboard for the rest of the 2026 season.

Though his name has been known for a while in tennis, he is still incredibly young.

If he can stay fit, there is no reason as to why he cannot return to his best and go beyond what he has already achieved.
