Dodin completes triple-sweep of French W60 crowns
Oceane Dodin won her fourth title of the year on the ITF World Tennis Tour – and third in France at W60 level – after triumphing on home soil at W60 Nantes on Sunday.
The 27-year-old Frenchwoman, who hadn’t won a tournament above W25 level since 2016 prior to this year, continued her resurgent season with a 6-7(2) 6-3 6-2 triumph over Czech Gabriela Knutson in Sunday's final.
The world No. 110 has recorded more match-wins than any other player at W60 tournaments this year, collecting 29 wins to just six losses at that tournament grade.
Elsewhere, 18-year-old German Ella Seidel recorded the biggest win of her professional career at W60 Bratislava, defeating Sofya Lansere 6-4 7-6(4) for her third ITF singles crown and first above W25 level.
Australian Destanee Aiava also won her maiden W60 crown, seeing off compatriot Astra Sharma 6-3 6-4 for her eight ITF singles title overall.
