Aruba to host ITF Beach Tennis Sand Series with record-prize money

Aruba is set to become the epicentre of beach tennis this November, hosting two major events on the International Tennis Federation (ITF) calendar. 

With qualifying on 14^th November and the main draw from 15^th to 17^th November, Aruba will host the ITF Beach Tennis Sand Series, officially becoming the seventh Sand Series event this year. For the first time, the tournament will offer prize money of $75,000, placing it alongside Réunion as one of the highest-paying events on the circuit. The total prize pool across the eight-day event, including singles, mixed doubles and MVP offers a total prize of $95,000.

In addition to the Sand Series, Aruba will also play host to the ITF Beach Tennis Pan American Championships from 7^th to 10^th November. This regional competition brings together top players from the Pan American region to compete for titles in Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles categories.

The Sand Series includes the premier tournaments on the ITF Beach Tennis World Tour, designed to provide top players with opportunities to gain more ranking points and greater prize money.

The Sand Series 75 tournament will feature enhanced ranking points and a significant prize pool, attracting top ranked players from around the world. This event marks the climax of the Aruba Open, a week-long celebration and festival of beach tennis, culminating in three days of intense competition to emerge victorious on Championship Sunday.

The ITF Beach Tennis Pan American Championships will see nations from the Pan American region competing in various categories. This event is part of the ITF Beach Tennis Tour and offers valuable Regional Championships ranking points. The Championships have a rich history, having been held in diverse locations across the region, including Chile last year and Argentina in 2022. The event returns to Aruba for the first time since 2019, promising an exciting and competitive atmosphere.
