2025 Davis Cup Junior Finals: teams announced
The players who will compete for their nations at the 2025 Davis Cup Junior Finals are now known.
Davis Cup Juniors is the premier international team competition for boys aged 16 and under and the season-long tournament this year culminates in the Finals at Estadio Nacional in Santiago, Chile from 3-9 November.
The Finals, which are played alongside the Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Junior Finals, are contested as four round-robin groups of four teams over the first three days of play, followed by a rest day and then the knockout stages.
It is the first time that the Finals are being hosted in South America since 2001 when Santiago was also the host city.
Similar to the ITF World Junior Tennis Finals in August which saw players aged 14 and under compete, this event is a major developmental step for talented juniors as they continue their progression along the ITF player pathway.
Many of today’s top players have honed their skills at the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Junior Finals before going on to represent their nations at senior level and star at Grand Slams and on the ATP and WTA Tours.
Previous winning teams have featured the likes of Rafael Nadal, Ashleigh Barty, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Denis Shapovalov, Iga Swiatek, Carlos Alcaraz, Coco Gauff and Joao Fonseca.
USA are the defending champions in both Billie Jean King Cup Juniors and Davis Cup Juniors having triumphed in both events at the 2024 Finals in Antalya, Turkiye.
