2025 BNP Paribas World Team Cup: semi-finalists decided in Antalya
Teams from nine countries have secured their places in the men’s, women’s quad or junior semi-finals at the 2025 BNP Paribas World Team Cup following the completion of three days of exciting and intense round-robin group ties in Antalya, Turkiye.
Chile having made history by reaching the semi-finals of the men’s World Group for the very first time, while Great Britain is the only nation among the semi-finalists to have teams through to the last four in all four draws.
Men’s World Group
After defeating second seeds and former champions the Netherlands on the second day of play in Antalya, sixth seeds Chile finished top of men’s Group B to set up a semi-final on Friday against third seeds France.
Great Britain will play top seeds Japan in the other men’s semi-final after Tokito Oda led Japan to a 3-0 win over Colombia on what was the world No. 1’s 19th birthday.

Women’s World Group
Great Britain’s women secured a remarkable comeback in the second singles match in their tie against Brazil on Thursday and then went on to win the deciding doubles contest to earn a semi-final against Japan on Friday.
Top seeds the Netherlands and third seeds France will contest the other women’s semi-final, with the Dutch team’s progress through their two group ties having included two 6-0 6-1 singles match wins for Diede de Groot (against Colombia and Turkiye), as the 2024 ITF World Champion returns to competition for the first time since the Paris 2024 Paralympics.

Quad World Group
Australia, Great Britain and the USA all finished Group B in the quad World Group with two wins apiece, but once the calculations were done to separate them, it was fifth seeds Australia and Great Britain who advanced to the last four.
Australia now play top seeds the Netherlands for a place in the final while Great Britain face Brazil in Saturday’s semifinals.

Junior World Group
All four top seeded nations are through to the junior World Group semi-finals after fourth seeds Great Britain and third seeds the USA finished top of their respective round-robins.
Great Britain now play top seeds Belgium on Thursday, when the USA take on second seeds Brazil. The USA have already beaten top seeds Belgium 2-1 this week in their round-robin group.
