16-year-old Liutova impresses again with W100 Sumter title
It is no doubt that we have a new star on our hands in Kristina Liutova.
The teenager, coming off of her title at W100 Indian Harbour Beach, has now won a second consecutive W100 at Sumter.
This takes her to three titles already on the ITF World Tennis Tour - all since February this year.
After battling through the draw for her first W100 title, she had no issues this time around.
It was an utterly dominant display at Sumter, with Liutova dispatching five Americans in a row without losing a set - ending the event with a 6-4 6-3 win over Reese Brantmeier in the final.
As a result, she is now the youngest player ever to have won multiple W100 titles, as well as being the only 16-year-old to do so.
Liutova is now up to a career-high ranking of world No. 216.
A talent for the future, as well as the present.

Elsewhere, Italy's Federica Urgesi won her first professional title at W75 Caserta, defeating compatriot Alessandra Mazzola 6-4 3-6 6-1 in the final.
It was a remarkable achievement for the 21-year-old to win her first ever title at such a high level.
