15 wins and counting: Vandewinkel wins third straight title
Hanne Vandewinkel continued her stunning season on the ITF World Tennis Tour – securing her third consecutive title with a 7-6 6-1 victory over Daria Snigur in the final at W75 Trnava on Sunday.
The 21-year-old Belgian added a third title in four weeks to her victories on Indian hard courts at W75 Pune and W100 Bengaluru in mid-February, putting her on the cusp of a breakthrough into the WTA’s top 100.
Vandewinkel, who has won 15 consecutive matches and dropped just two sets in the process, now has 13 professional titles to her name – including 12 at ITF level and one on the WTA Tour at W125 Tampico last October.
She currently leads the ITF World Tennis Tour for most titles won in 2026 along with 20-year-old Swiss Celine Naef, who has also won three - at W50 Manchester, W50 Grenoble and W50 Macon.

“Can’t believe this… 75k Trnava winner. Third title in a row,” she posted on Instagram, to plaudits from her Belgian colleagues.
“Hell yeah!!” was one such response – from world No. 39 ATP Zizou Bergs – an appropriate nod to a female champion from a male counterpart on international women’s day.
Vandewinkel is a former junior world No. 19 and played at all four junior Grand Slams, and appears to be motoring towards success in the senior game.

Beaten finalist Snigur could also celebrate a positive month - having reached the last four at a WTA 250 event in Cluj Napoca and also won the title at the WTA 125 Oeiras event ahead of her runner-up finish on Slovakian soil last week.
