Electronic Line Calling (ELC) Systems are awarded classification upon completion of a rigorous evaluation process. Systems must demonstrate their accuracy, reliability, practicality, and suitability to provide line calling decisions. A system is classified as Gold, Silver, or Bronze based on the level in which it satisfies the assessment criteria. Full information on the evaluation process and the assessment criteria can be found in the Evaluation Procedures.
Systems are only classified for a specific setting, surface, and review/real-time line calls upon completion of the relevant stage of the evaluation process.
Review systems provide on-court decisions when challenges are requested. Real-time (Live) systems provide line calls for all bounces.
