ITF Wheelchair Doubles Masters

The first ever Wheelchair Tennis Doubles Masters took place in 2000, alongside the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Masters, in the Netherlands and annually attracts the world's very best wheelchair tennis stars.

The Doubles Masters became a stand alone event in 2003 and was held in Italy from 2003 until 2010. In 2011, the event moved to Amsterdam, Netherlands for a two year period.

Each year the top eight men’s pairings, top six women's pairings and top four quad pairings are accepted into the draw which follows a round-robin format in the same style as the NEC Masters.

The ITF Wheelchiar Doubles Masters remains the most prestigious doubles event on the international NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour. It also carries ITF Masters Series status, bringing with it a rich pool of ranking points, and as it falls towards the end of the calendar it may also decide the year-end world No. 1 doubles players in each of the men's, women's and quad rankings.
